Garet Waterhouse is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in individual and couples therapy, and maintains a private practice in Santa Rosa, California.
With over fifteen years experience as a psychotherapist, and as a graduate of the Sacramento State University School of Social Work, he is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among his areas of expertise are treating sex and sexuality issues, trauma, depression, anxiety, and relationship problems with a wide range of populations, including the LGBTQ and Native American communities.
Garet's work history includes nearly twenty years with Mendocino County, working with many at risk families. His work there included supporting the network of family resource centers throughout the county, and developing and overseeing new programs to support vulnerable populations, including those in poverty, the unhoused, people struggling with addiction, and coordinating needed resources for families.
He has also worked as a psychotherapist in the behavioral health departments at Mendocino Coast Clinics, and the Sonoma County Indian Health Project.
In his spare time, Garet can usually be found acting and singing on a local stage, or enjoying his home with his partner and dog.
